Research Area:

Modeling, advance control & process optimization, production scheduling and management decision making, redundant control and fault detection, and integration of generalized industrial process automation system based on network and databases for industrial processes including metallurgy, petrochemical, chemical, bio-chemical paper production, and urea production.


Standardize and commercialize the major research outcomes accomplished by the institute of industrial process control, the institute of automatic instrumentation, the institute of cyber-systems and control, the state key laboratory of industrial control technology, the national engineering research center for industrial automation, and an experiment and teaching center for automation. Become an important base of the theoretical research, key technology development, system manufacture, technology transfer, and to advance the overall level of the industrial process automation in China.
